Admission prices

Exceptionnaly, part of the permanent exhibition will be closed alternately :

Tuesday 3rd and Thursday 5th August, closing of the following areas : Bordeaux in the 18th century, trans-atlantic commerce and slaveryPort of Bordeaux, gateway to the world: 1800-1939 and The 20th and 21st centuries 

Wednesday 4th and Friday 6th August, closing of the following areas : Prehistory-Protohistory, Antiquity, Medieval period and The 16th and 17th centuries

On these dates, the reduced rate will be applied to all visitors. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Reduced rate for :

-          groups of 10 people or more
-          students
-          unemployed individuals
-          in case of partial closure of the museum
-          holders of an anual subscription at the Cité du Vin
-          holders of the card issued to famillies with three and more children
 

Access is free for :

-          visitors under the age of 18
-          students of artistic and social sciences studies
-          recipients of means-tested benefits
-          disabled visitors and their guest or helper
-          holders of the Carte Jeunes and their guest
-          members of the Amis du musée d’Aquitaine
-          holders of a Bordeaux Métropole City Pass
-          holders of an ICOM or ICOMOS card
-          journalists
-          employees of the City of Bordeaux
-          holders of a Pass Musée Bordeaux
-          holders of a Pass Pro issued by the City of Bordeaux
-          holders of the big donator's card issued by the City of Bordeaux
-          bearers of the sentinel operation's card

Access to the museum is free for all visitors on the first Sunday of each month (except July and August).
